He is the current Vice President of Membership for the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association of New Jersey and previously served as a Director on its leadership Board.

In addition to his litigation practice, Sherwin was a panelist for the New Jersey Supreme Court Fee Arbitration Committee since 2021 and currently serves on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on the Rules of Evidence. He further dedicates his time to his community, having volunteered on his local Planning Board and Environmental Commission.

Sherwin Tsai earned his B.A. in Political Science and History from Brandeis University, his Master in Public Administration from Suffolk University Sawyer School of Management, and his J.D. from Valparaiso University School of Law.
